A second municipality is awarded
The municipality La Punt Chamues-ch commits itself to caring for the Ova Chamuera and improving its ecological conditions where possible.
La Punt Chamues-ch is the second municipality to be awarded the “River Pearl PLUS” label. This is in recognition of its commitment to the Ova Chamuera mountain stream. The municipality is one of the first to take this step and, with the label, commits itself to caring for the Ova Chamuera and improving its ecological conditions where possible.
The Val Chamuera is one of the most untouched mountain valleys of the Upper Engadin. The valley is located south of the village La Punt Chamues-ch and includes several side valleys. They are drained by the Ova Chamuera mountain stream and by a wide network of neighbouring streams. The great peculiarity of the valley is its tranquility and seclusion.
